Adsorption properties of corncob and cyclodextrin crosslinked composites for dye molecules
Corncob-β-cyclodextrin composites(CB-β-CD)were synthesized in one-pot using corncob and β-cyclodextrin as raw materials.CB-β-CD Were characterized by FTIR,SEM,BET and thermogravimetry. The adsorption performance of CB-β-CD was tested by adsorbing dye molecules(AF)and MG under dif-ferent conditions. The results showed that the initial mass concentration of 20 mL dye was 30 mg/L and add long adsorbent the adsorption time was 3 h,the maximum adsorption amounts of CB-β-CD for MG and AF were 52.16 mg/g and 58.04 mg/g,respectively.The adsorption of MG was better under alkaline con-ditions,while AF was adsorbed better under acidic conditions. The adsorption of AF and MG is more in line with the quasi second-order kinetic model and Langmuir isotherm adsorption type, and the adsorption process is mainly single-molecule layer and chemical adsorption. After five cycles of reuse, the adsorption performance of the material can still reach above 90%.
