Synthesis of fatty alcohols polyoxyethylene ether acrylates and analysis of influencing factors
Fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether acrylate was synthesized directly from fatty alcohol polyoxy-ethylene ether and acrylic acid by esterification reaction, using p-toluenesulfonic acid as catalyst and hy-droquinone as polymerization inhibitor. The effects of reactant feeding ratio, catalyst dosage, catalyst type, reaction temperature and reaction time on the esterification reaction were investigated. The results showed that the suitable synthesis process conditions were:n(aliphatic alcohol ethoxylate)∶n(acrylic acid)= 1∶3,the amount of catalyst p-toluenesulfonic acid was 1%(mass fraction of aliphatic alcohol ethoxylate),the reaction temperature was 120℃,the reaction time was 3 h,and the amount of resorcinol was 0.05%(mass fraction of acrylic acid).Under the above conditions, the conversion of the esterification reaction could reach 90.70%.
