Determination and correlation of solubility of bisphenol A type phthalimide in several solvents
The solubility of bisphenol A type phthalimide in different solvents at273.15~353.15 K was measured by equilibrium method. The results show that within a certain temperature range, the solubility increases with the increase of temperature.Through the improved Apelblat equation,λh equation and Wil-son activity coefficient equation, the experimental data of the solubility was correlated. And the correlation coefficients were not less than 0.988 0,0.977 1,and 0.939 4,respectively.The three models can corre-late the solubility data of imide in solvent better.Compared with the correlation results of the model, the improved Apelblat equation has the best correlation effect(ARD≤6.18%,RSMD≤2.39,and R2≥0.988 0),providing thermodynamics basis for the design of crystallization process.
