Preparation and characterization of nanofibers based on molecular simulation of polymerized rosin and polypropylene
The molecular dynamics simulation of the blending process of polymer polypropylene and glassy tricyclic diterpene small molecule polymerized rosin was carried out by using Materials Studio software. The variation trends of Flory-Huggins interaction parameters and radial distribution functions of polypro-pylene and polymerized rosin were obtained under different blending conditions. On this basis, melt blend-ing of polypropylene and polymerized rosin was carried out,the microstructure, thermal properties and sur-face morphology of the blend were characterized, and the spinnability of the blend was investigated. The results show that polypropylene and polymerized rosin have good compatibility, and polypropylene nanofi-bers up to 50 nm can be prepared by melt spinning.
