Study on the application of alumina in the dechlorination of tetrachloropropane to trichloropropylene
The effect of γ-Al2O3,θ-Al2O3,AlCl3/Al2O3,AC,SiO2 and other catalysts on the dechlorina-tion of tetrachloropropane to trichloropropylene was investigated. The results showed that γ-Al2O3 catalyst had high dechlorination performance, and the conversion rate increased with the increase of temperature from 150~240℃.Above 240℃,the conversion rate begins to decrease with the increase of tempera-ture.The main product is trichloropropylene, and the selectivity reaches more than 99%.At the same time, the regeneration performance of Al2O3 catalyst was studied, and the characteristics of XRD,TG,BET,FTIR,NH3-TPD,EDS and XPS were analyzed. The results show that the γ-Al2O3 catalyst has a rap-id deactivation phenomenon, and the main reasons for the deactivation are reaction coking, carbon deposi-tion and surface adsorption of chloride ions. After the reaction, the catalyst was calcination under suitable conditions in the air atmosphere, and its performance was basically restored to the level of fresh catalyst. The average conversion rate of tetrachloropropane was greater than 90%,and the selectivity of trichloro-propylene was greater than 99%.
