Preparation of carbon-loaded sulfide nano-zero-valent iron and its removal properties against malachite green and trichloroethylene
In order to improve the adsorption and reduction performance of zero-valent iron nanoparticles on pollutants, the carbon-loaded zero-valent iron nanoparticles(Fe/C)were prepared by aerosol-assisted fabrication, and the modified material(S-Fe/C)was prepared by sulfurizing and modifying Fe/C.The ma-terial characteristics were investigated by various methods, such as scanning electron microscope(SEM),transmission electron microscope(TEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),etc. The material characteristics of S-Fe/C were also investigated, and the material characteristics of S-Fe/C were investigated. The adsorption properties of the material towards malachite green(MG)and the reduction properties towards trichloroethylene(TCE)were explored. The results showed that the ad-sorption of MG by S-Fe/C reached 1 663 mg/g and the removal rate of TCE for 10 h was 85.57%,indi-cating that S-Fe/C has good adsorption and reduction properties.
