This paper firstly describes the basic principle of low-temperature plasma technology.Secondly,the applications of plasma in surface modified carbon nanotubes,graphite,graphene oxide and new porous carbon materials are introduced respectively.And some research results in this field at home and abroad are listed.Some shortcomings of surface modification by low-temperature plasma are discussed and its fu-ture development is prospected.
