Study on the subchronic toxicity of triclocarban to the early-life development of Oryzias Melastigma
This study investigated the subchronic toxic effects of triclocarban(TCC)on the early life sta-ges of Oryzias Melastigma. The result showed that TCC could reduce the heart rate and hatching rate of embryos and decrease the survival rate of larvae.Typical biomarker assays revealed that TCC could cause damage to the antioxidant and nervous systems of embryos.Through subchronic toxicity studies,we can further understand the potential toxic effects and mechanisms of TCC on the early stages of marine organ-isms,providing essential theoretical guidance for the early risk assessment and control of TCC toxicity.
