Vanadium poisoning mechanism of catalytic cracking catalysts & research progress on vanadium resistance
The mechanism of vanadium poisoning and anti-vanadium methods of catalytic cracking cata-lysts are reviewed.The methods include adding vanadium passivators to raw oil,mixing vanadium trappers with FCC catalysts and modifying Y zeolites or catalyst matrix with rare earth or alkaline earth metals and their advantages and disadvantages were discussed.The effect of vanadium on ZSM-5 zeolites and its vanadium strategy were briefly described for increasing the production of low carbon olefin.The research idea of vanadium resistance of low carbon olefin catalysts based on ZSM-5 zeolite is put forward.The defi-ciencies of the research on vanadium resistant modification of catalysts are pointed out,and the challenges and future development direction of catalyst modification are proposed.
