Study on oxidation characteristics of raw coal and oxidized coal at different oxygen concentrations
Based on the self-developed programmed temperature device, taking the bituminous coal in Tangkou,Shandong Province as the research object, the changes of oxygen consumption rate, heat release intensity,CO gas concentration, characteristic temperature and cross point temperature of raw coal and oxidized coal under different oxygen concentrations were analyzed. The results show that at 21%oxygen volume fraction, the oxygen consumption rate and heat release intensity of raw coal are higher than that of oxidized coal, and the CO content of raw coal is lower than that of oxidized coal at the initial stage and greater than that of oxidized coal at the later stage. At 15%and 10%oxygen volume fraction, the oxygen consumption rate and heat release intensity of raw coal are lower than that of oxidized coal, and the CO produced by oxidized coal is higher than that of raw coal.Under the oxygen volume fraction of 5%,the oxygen consumption rate and heat release intensity of raw coal are higher than that of oxidized coal in the early stage and lower than that of oxidized coal in the later stage, and the CO produced by oxidized coal is higher than that of raw coal. With the decrease of oxygen volume fraction, the characteristic temperature of raw coal and oxidized coal increases gradually. At 21%and 15%oxygen volume fraction, the characteristic temperature of oxidized coal is lower than that of raw coal.At 10%and 5%oxygen volume fraction, there is no significant difference between the critical temperature and dry cracking temperature of raw coal and oxi-dized coal. With the decrease of oxygen volume fraction, the cross point temperature of raw coal and oxidized coal increases, and the cross point temperature of oxidized coal is earlier than that of raw coal.
