Research progress on lithium cobalt oxide as cathode material for lithium-ion batteries
This article reviews the synthesis and modification methods of lithium cobalt oxide,with a focus on the structural advantages of lithium cobalt oxide crystals compared to other cathode materials.Modifica-tion strategies include surface coating and bulk doping,each with its own merits,providing insights for the design of lithium cobalt oxide materials with high capacity and high operating voltage.Future directions in the modification research of lithium cobalt oxide will involve more in-depth investigations and broader ex-plorations.
