Preparation and performance evaluation of a pH precipitation-dissolution switching oil remover
Sodium tetradecylamine propyl sulfonate(TMPS)was synthesized by sulfonation from tetrade-cylamine and 1,3-propyl sulfonolactone. The structure of TMPS was characterized by FTIR,ESI-MS and 1 H NMR.The critical micelle concentration was determined by surface tension method to be 1.332×10-3 mol/L and γcmc was 26.93 mN/m.With quartz sand impregnated by No.5 white oil as the simulated oil sand, the oil removal effect of oil sand can reach 96.41%,and the good oil removal effect can still reach more than 80%after 5 cycles.Through the single factor experiment, the optimal cleaning conditions of TMPS for oil sands were determined as follows:the concentration of oil remover was 15 mmoL/L,the temperature was 65℃,the ratio of material to liquid was 1∶5,the cleaning time was 60 min,and the stir-ring speed was 1 000 rad/min.By comparing the nuclear magnetic hydrogen spectra before and after the recovery of oil remover, the structure does not change, which can effectively solve the waste of oil remover in the process of oil based drilling cuttings.
