This article selected seven surfactants, paired in combinations,as washing agents to investigate their effects on leaching chromium(Ⅵ)from soil and the influencing factors. The results showed that the novel amphoteric surfactant, octadecyl dimethylammonium oxide(OA-18),had a higher leaching rate compared to the other six surfactants.Additionally, the mixed washing agent composed of OA-18 and sodi-um dodecyl benzene sulfonate(SDBS)demonstrated better leaching performance than individual surfac-tants and other tested combination washing agents. The best leaching effect was achieved when OA-18 and SDBS were combined in a volume ratio of 6∶4,with an initial concentration of the mixed washing agent at 1.2 g/L,a solution pH of 8,an oscillating washing time of 12 h,and a soil-to-water ratio of 1∶15.Under these conditions, the removal rate of chromium(Ⅵ)from soil was 92.3%.
