Overview of reactors and regulation strategies in aerobic composting of organic waste
A overview of the types and parameters of composting reactors was provided,with a focus on the selection of bulking agents before piling,optimization of process parameters within the pile,and the influ-ence of post-piling ventilation and oxygen supply strategies on composting effectiveness.The impact of mi-crobial inoculants on parameters such as pile temperature,moisture content,seed germination index,pH,and emissions of pollutants gases during composting was analyzed.Finally,future research directions were discussed,including the merits and demerits of different reactor types,optimization of their combinations,intelligent monitoring technologies,and improvements in the application of microbial inoculants to promote the recycling of organic compost products and resource utilization.
