Shale oil and gas reservoir usually has a complex pore network system, and its pore connectivity plays an important role in oil and gas flow.Pore connectivity of reservoir can be used as an important pa-rameter in reservoir evaluation together with permeability, porosity and saturation of movable fluid. This paper introduces four methods for characterizing reservoir pore connectivity(repeated-high-pressure mer-cury injection experiment,high-pressure Wood's metal injection experiment, contrast matched small An-gle neutron scattering experiment, and imbibition experiment. In addition, the application status of several methods is investigated, which helps to understand the advantages and disadvantages of different methods in practical application,as well as provides reference for the microscopic pore characterization of shale oil and gas reservoir, and it's can more comprehensively understand the pore connectivity characteristics of shale oil and gas reservoir.
