Construction of self-management scheme of patients after metabolic bariatric surgery based on IMB model
Objective:To develop a self-management program for patients after metabolic bariatric surgery, providing a reference for improving patients'self-management abilities. Methods:A systematic review was conducted to search for domestic and international guidelines, expert consensus, and qualitative research literature related to self-management experiences following metabolic bariatric surgery. After screening and extracting the literature content,a preliminary draft of the program was developed based on the Information-Motivation-Behavioral Skills(IMB)model. From April to May 2023,the Delphi method was used to conduct two rounds of surveys among 16 experts, followed by revisions to finalize the program. Results:The effective response rates for the two rounds of surveys were 100.00% and 93.75%,respectively.The expert authority coefficients were 0.910 and 0.930,and the Kendall's W coefficients were 0.432 and 0.382(P<0.001).The final version of the self-management program for metabolic bariatric surgery patients was established, consisting of 4 framework dimensions,8 sub-dimensions,and 41 items. Conclusion:The developed self-management program for patients after metabolic bariatric surgery demonstrates good scientificity, reliability, and clinical applicability, providing a reference for enhancing the self-management abilities of this patient population.
