It summarizes the roles of six potential biological markers of depression based on omics technologies,including neurotransmitters,the neuroendocrine system,the psychoneuroimmune system,neurotrophic factor systems,metabolism-related factors,and neuroimaging,in the diagnosis,treatment,observation of intervention effects,and prognosis of depression.The aim is to provide support for subsequent research clinical diagnosis and treatment and nursing work on depression.
