Stiffness Calculation of Unreinforced U-Shaped Bellows Based on ANSYS
Austenitic stainless steel bellows are the main component of liquid rocket engine propellant pipeline compensator, and their stiffness characteristics are very important for pipeline stability. In order to study the influence of interlayer contact state on the stiffness of large-diameter bellows, the friction coefficient and interlayer gap were used to describe the contact state, and the characteristics of the influence of interlayer contact state on the axial compression stiffness of bellows were revealed. Finally, the finite element calculation results are compared with the experimental data, the error is less than 20%,the accuracy is far better than the traditional formula.
