Emergency power system is one of the key safety guarantee systems of nuclear power plants,and its operating status directly affects the nuclear safety rating.Emergency diesel engine is the core power of emergency power system,which depends on in-cylinder combustion process to output power.Abnormal combustion is a frequent fault of diesel engine,which directly affects the work capacity,operation stability,emission performance and other state characteristics.The identification of the abnormal combustion fault in the cylinder can find the problem in time and prevent the malignant fault of the unit due to the uneven work of each cylinder,abnormal exhaust temperature,and even overload of single cylinder.In this paper,based on the multi-cylinder characteristics of diesel engine and the surface temperature change law of abnormal combustion cylinder,the surface temperature of each cylinder is detected by infrared thermal imaging,and the cylinder with abnormal temperature change is identified by consistency detection method.A method for identifying abnormal combustion in diesel engine cylinder based on infrared thermal imaging is formed.This method makes full use of the mechanism knowledge of the uniformity of work done by each cylinder and the consistency of temperature changes on the surface of the cylinder in the normal state,and has nothing to do with the operating condition of the diesel engine,so it is suitable for in-cylinder anomaly identification under complex variable working conditions.The simulation test of abnormal combustion in diesel engine cylinder verifies the effectiveness of the method proposed in this paper.
