This article introduces a real-time monitoring system for wheel tread temperature,which is an auxiliary system for railway engineering vehicle operation safety.The system composition,working principle,and installation method are introduced.The system can monitor wheel tread temperature in real time,achieve specific temperature threshold alarm functions,and has the characteristics of easy installation and low cost.After actual vehicle verification,the system is reliable and suitable for most railway operating vehicles.
