Following the regulations of the"China University Formula Student Race"and leveraging the Nanjing Institute of Technology Lingfeng Racing Team's Ling02 Formula Student Race Car as the research subject,this study integrated principles from human factors engineering to undertake the design of the race car seat.Moreover,CAE simulation software was employed to carry out simulated analysis.Tailoring to the practical scenarios of race car seat usage,emphasis was placed on fulfilling requirements encompassing comfort,safety,high structural integrity,and lightweight design.In this context,a seat design process and simulation approach tailored for university-level formula racing were formulated.The research findings underscore that the designed seat not only offers a comfortable driving posture for the driver but also adheres to the stipulated structural strength criteria during usage.
