Design of Composite Floating Tooling for Processing Thin-Walled Shell Parts
In order to solve the problems of deformation and vibration in the processing of a large thin-walled shell component, measures were taken from the aspects of part processing technology arrangement and clamping scheme through analysis of the structure and process of the component.Based on the problems encountered during the processing, the fixture was optimized and an electric light composite floating fixture was designed. The fixture adopts a split hollow structure, light materials, and automatic control method, solved the problems of machining deformation and vibration of the parts, ensuring the machining quality of the parts. The designed tooling has strong adaptability to different processing states and wall thicknesses of products,as well as products with the same structure and different materials. It further expands the application scope of the tooling, reduces the production cost of products, improves the production efficiency of parts, and provides ideas and methods for the processing of similar products, with good application and promotion value.
