Taking the front beam of 55 MN aluminum extruder as the design research object,the structure design,simulation analysis and design optimization of the front beam of forgings are carried out,and the structure of front beam of forgings is determined finally.The thickness of the front beam of the forgings is obviously smaller than that of the box castings,thus shortening the installation distance between the rear quenching device of the extruder and the die mouth,effectively ensuring the quenching performance of the extruded products and reducing the extrusion waste at the same time.It can be widely used in small and medium-sized extruders.
