Aiming at the failure of the wire thread insert of the aluminum alloy robot body,this paper carried out research on the strength of the substrate,welding heat affected zone test,and the diameter test of the bottom hole of the wire thread insert installation,and identified the failure cause of the wire thread insert.The method of applying thread sealant at the same time when installing the wire thread insert is innovatively proposed,which effectively avoids the phenomenon of failure caused by the insufficient machining precision of the bottom hole of the wire thread insert installation.
