Study on the effect of pars plana vitrectomy and panretinal photocoagulation in the treatment of diabet-ic retinopathy
Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic effect of ranibizumab+pars plana vitrectomy(PPV)combined with panretinal photocoagulation(PRP)in the treatment of diabetic retinopathy(DR),and to analyze the effect on vis-ual function of patients.Methods:Fifty-four DR patients admitted to our hospital who met the indications for surgical treatment were included in the study, and the patients were divided into two groups according to the principle of volun-tariness.The control group(n=24)was treated with PPV,and the treatment group(n=30)received PPV+PRP treatment, and all patients in two groups were injected with anti-ranibizumab before surgery, and the treatment results were compared and analyzed. Results:The levels of best corrective visual acuity(BCVA)and intraocular pressure(IOP)in the treatment group at 1 week and 1 month after surgery were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The photosensitivity of patients with 30°and 60°peripheral field in the treatment group at 1 week and 1 month after surgery was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications at 6 months after surgery in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:PPV+PRP is effective in the treat-ment of diabetic retinopathy, and the comprehensive application of these two surgical methods can effectively control the progrssion of the disease and can protect the patient's vision.
