A pplication effect of laryngeal mask in thoracoscopic sympathectomy
Objective:To explore the clinical effects of implementing laryngeal mask anesthesia and dual lumen tra-cheal intubation anesthesia in patients with palmar hyperhidrosis(bilateral thoracoscopic sympathetic nerve chain resec-tion)using a single port method. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 40 cases of hand hyperhidrosis completed by single hole method in hospital, which were admitted from October 2023 to May 2024.They were randomly divided into two groups:a control group and an observation group. The control group was given general anesthesia with double-lumen tracheal intubation, while the observation group was given general anesthesia with laryngeal mask airway. The anesthesia recovery time, total bilateral operation time, intraoperative blood loss,post-operative visual analogue pain score(VAS),hospitalization time and hospitalization expenses, postoperative complica-tions rate and stress response index were compared between the two groups Results:The anesthesia recovery time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the total bilateral surgery time and in-traoperative bleeding volume were compared between the two groups(P>0.05).The VAS and white blood cell count(WBC)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group one day after operation, and the hospitaliza-tion time and expenses were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative sore throat and cough in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).One day after opera-tion,the levels of inflammatory factors in the two groups were higher than before, but the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α)and C-reactive protein(CRP)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of cortisol(COR)and norepinephrine(NE)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group 1 day after operation(P<0.05).Conclusion:The implementation of laryngeal mask anesthesia during thoracoscopic sympathetic nerve chain transection is effective and safe.Compared with general anesthesia with dual lumen tracheal intubation,it has outstanding advantages such as reducing postoperative pain,re-ducing the risk of complications, and saving hospitalization time.
