Identification,Biological Characteristics Analysis and Fungicide Screening for Pathogenic Pathogen Causing Tomato Gray Mold in Henan Province
Gray mold of tomato is one of the serious diseases affecting tomato production. The tomato leaves infected with gray mold from vegetable greenhouses in Shangqiu,Henan Province was used as material.Three pathogen strains were purified by tissue isolation method, and their morphological characteristics were found to be identical. One representative strain was named as SQBC1.The rDNA-ITS,CHS-l gene and tubA gene of the strain were sequenced. In combination with culture characteristic, morphological characteristics, and pathogenicity, the pathogen causing tomato gray mold in Shangqiu City,Henan Province was identifed as Botrytis cinerea. The strain's optimal growth temperature was 28 ℃,with the ideal light conditions being 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness. The optimal pH was 6.0,while lactose was the preferred carbon source, and peptone was the optimal nitrogen source. The inhibitory effects on the the growth of the pathogen tomato gray mold were assessed,in-dicating significant inhibitory effects of azoxystrobin and pyraclostrobin. The study provides a reference for effective control of tomato gray mold.
