Effects of Different Concentrations of Humic Acid on Growth and Physiological Characteristics of Brassica rapa chinensis under Coconut Bran Substrate Cultivation
A new cultivar of Brassica rapa chinensis,'Linglonghuang 515',was used as the experimental material to explore the effect of different concentrations of humic acid on its growth, development, and quality. The results showed that under the cultivation of coconut bran substrate, the application of humic acid exhibited varying degrees of enhancement on leaf and plant growth of Brassica rapa chinensis. It increased the plant height and yield, and promoted fresh and dry weight of plants, main root diameter, content of reducing sugar, soluble protein, and soluble sugar. These improvements effectively boosted both yield and quality. The results of mem-bership function analysis showed that the overall scores of growth and quality indicators of Brassica rapa chinensis were highest for the T2 treatment(0.78),followed by T1(0.68)and T3(0.50).Thus,compared with T1 and T3 treatments,T2 treatment significantly enhanced the growth and quality indicators of Brassica rapa chinen-sis,with the optimal concentration of humic acid being 2.5%.Through the assessment of humic acid fertilizer ef-ficiency,this study revealed its effect on agronomic traits and physiological characteristics of Brassica rapa chinensis, thereby providing a theoretical foundation for promoting the use of humic acid and green and efficient production of Brassica rapa chinensis.
