Isolation and Identification of Fusarium Root Rot Pathogenic Fungi in Northwest Hubei
Root rot, caused by Fusarium spp.is a significant fungal disease affecting tobacco cultivation, which leads to substantial losses in both the quality and yield of tobacco products.Samples with typical root rot symptoms on tobacco were collected in the cultivation area of the Northwest Hubei. The pathogenic fungi were iso-lated,screened,and tested with morphological identification and molecular characteristics(ITS andβ-tubulin).In addition, phylogenetic analysis and pathogenicity test were conducted. The results showed that the tobacco Fu-sarium root rot was caused by F.oxysporum,F.solani,F.equiseti and F.sambucinum.
