Key Techniques for Pleurotus eryngii Cultivation and Control of Pest and Diseases in Shangluo
Pleurotus eryngii,commonly known as King Oyster Mushroom,holds a significant importance as an edible mushroom cultivated in Shangluo.This study systematically investigated cultivation techniques and pest control measures for Pleurotus eryngii in Shangluo,a key cultivation region in China with over 50 years of artifi-cial cultivation history for this mushroom.The aim is to provide a comprehensive overview of the biological char-acteristics,environmental conditions,and essential cultivation management practices for Pleurotus eryngii.The main cultivation practices include cultivation seasons,variety selection,formulation of raw materials and culture media,mixing,bagging,sterilization,inoculation,among others.The Pleurotus eryngii industry in the Shangluo region has not only achieved significant success in agricultural economics but also has gained popularity in mar-kets among consumers.This study also analyzed common diseases and pests affecting Pleurotus eryngii,propo-sing corresponding preventive and control measures.This study contributes valuable support for Pleurotus eryngii industry in the Shangluo region.
