Effects of Different Ecological Planting Patterns on Growth Traits and Yields of Corydalis yanhusuo
This study investigated the effects of different ecological planting patterns on the growth traits and yield of Corydalis yanhusuo.Using monoculture of Corydalis yanhusuo as a control, the study measured different indicators including plant height, leaf area,above-ground fresh weight, number of underground stems, number of underground tubers, underground fresh weight, and yield. The results showed that different ecological planting patterns have influenced the growth conditions and yield of Corydalis yanhusuo.Based on the above-ground traits(plant height)and underground traits(underground fresh weight, number of underground tubers),the ec-ological planting patterns ranked from highest to lowest fresh yield were as follows:Corydalis yanhusuo in rice ro-tation(Z3)>Corydalis yanhusuo planted under kiwifruit trees(Z1)>Monoculture of Corydalis yanhusuo(CK)>Corydalis yanhusuo intercropped under citrus trees(Z2).Correlation analysis indicated significant positive correlations between leaf area of Corydalis yanhusuo and above-ground fresh weight, number of under-ground tubers;number of underground tubers and plant height, leaf area, underground fresh weight, number of underground tubers;and yield and plant height, underground fresh weight, number of underground tubers.Prin-cipal component analysis showed that plant height for above-ground traits, and number of underground tubers, underground fresh weight, and number of underground tubers for underground traits can serve as major indicators reflecting the growth characteristics of Corydalis yanhusuo. This study aims to provide a theoretical basis and technical support for the"Southern Medicine Moving North"strategy of Corydalis yanhusuo and the large-scale extension of ecological planting technologies.
