Exploring Role of Technological Progress in Advancing Food Security System
Global food security faces significant challenges,including limited natural resources,climate change,population growth,and shifts in consumption patterns.In this context,technological progress has become a key driving force in ensuring food security.This paper comprehensively discusses the application of technology in the food security system,including the contributions of biotechnology and gene editing in improving food production efficiency,precision agriculture in optimizing resource utilization,modern storage and preservation techniques in reducing food loss,and the role of internet of things(IoT)and blockchain technology in enhancing food traceabili-ty and transparency.Although technological progress has brought unprecedented opportunities for food security,it also faces challenges in terms of technological accessibility,cost,ethics,and safety.Future technological develop-ment should focus on intelligence,sustainability,and ethics to more effectively promote global food security.
