Comparative Analysis of Fruit Quality of Six Strawberry Varieties
Strawberry varieties'Miaoxiang 7','White Lover','Zhangji','Miaoxiang 3','Hongyu',and'Suizhu'were used as experimental materials to determine fruit appearance and nutritional quality under solar greenhouse cultivation conditions in the Yulin area.Correlation analysis and the entropy weight TOPSIS method were em-ployed to screen out high-quality strawberry varieties suitable for cultivation in the Yulin area.The results showed that the average fruit weight of'Miaoxiang 3'was the largest,followed by'Zhangji',while'Miaoxiang 7'was the smallest.The hardness of'Zhangji'and'Miaoxiang 3'was greater,whereas'White Lover'and'Miaoxiang 7'had medium hardness.The contents of flavonoids,soluble protein,soluble solids,soluble sugars,and phenolic sub-stances were highest in'Miaoxiang 3'and lowest in'Miaoxiang 7'.Vitamin C(Vc),titratable acidity,and antho-cyanin contents were highest in'Zhangji',with smaller amounts found in'Miaoxiang 7'and'White Lover'.Correla-tion analysis indicated that average fruit weight was positively correlated with soluble solids,fruit water content,soluble protein,anthocyanins,and soluble sugars Fruit hardness correlated positively with anthocyanins,Vc,and anthocyanins.Fruit water content was positively correlated with soluble solids and soluble protein.The con-tent of soluble sugar was positively correlated with soluble solid matter,soluble protein,and vitamin C.Accord-ing to the results of entropy weight TOPSIS analysis,the relative proximity ranking was'Miaoxiang 3','Zhangji','Suizhu','Hongyu','White Lover',and'Miaoxiang 7'.It is clear from the test that the quality indices of'Miaoxiang 3'and'Zhangji'are obviously better than those of other varieties,making them excellent vari-eties suitable for cultivation in the Yulin area.
