Effect of Red Jujube Intercropping with Soybean on Red Jujube Yield and Soil Fertility
This study investigated the application effect of Red jujube intercropping with soybean on Red ju-jube production.Three treatments were set up:no intercropping(CK),intercropping with corn(Treatment 1),and intercropping with soybean(Treatment 2).The results showed that the average yield of Treatment 2 was 29,375 kg/hm2,which was 13.5%higher than CK and 11.3%higher than Treatment 1.The single fruit in Treat-ment 2 was longer and thicker, had a high sugar-acid ratio, and tasted sweet. The total nitrogen, total phos-phorus,and total potassium in Treatment 2 were 21.4%,23.0%,and 6.4%higher than CK,and 65.9%,40.0%,and 11.2%higher than Treatment 1,respectively.Soil alkali-hydrolytic nitrogen, available phos-phorus,and available potassium in Treatment 2 were 14.0%,22.5%,and 17.9%higher than CK,and 7.9%,12.2%,and 13.8%higher than Treatment 1,respectively.The content of organic matter in Treatment 2 was the highest, being 5.4%and 5.0%higher than CK and Treatment 1,respectively.Treatment 2 achieved the best yield, quality, and soil fertility. This study provides a reference for intercropping local cash crops with forest and fruit trees.
