Comparative Study on Efficacy of Herbicides in Corn Fields
Weed control during the seedling stage of corn is one of the key methods to reduce the incidence of pests and diseases. This study evaluated the efficacy of weed control in corn fields using seven commonly ap-plied herbicides. The results indicated that all herbicide treatments within the recommended dosages were safe for corn.Treatments 2 and 4 demonstrated lower control efficacy, while treatments 1,3,6,and 7 exhibited higher control efficacy.Considering both efficacy and economic benefits, the application of 90 ml per 667 m2 of 28%nicosulfuron-atrazine dispersible oil suspension is recommended.
