In order to further explore the effects of a new plant immune-activating protein,VDAL(0.4%Verticillium dahliae activating protein),on promoting stress resistance, disease resistance, and yield increase in wheat,to explore green prevention and control methods for preventing and controlling wheat stem rot, scab, and other pests and diseases in our region, and to ensure the safety of summer grain production, three pesticides were selected, and seed coating technology was used to conduct field control efficacy trials on wheat stem rot, scab, and other diseases, providing a scientific basis for the selection of pesticides for controlling wheat pests and dis-eases.The results showed that the yield increase effect was significant. The yield per 667 m2 of 0.4%VDAL treatment was 617.95 kilograms, which increased by 52.96 kilograms compared to the conventional 12%pheni-date chlorpyrifos thiacloprid treatment at 564.99 kilograms per 667 m2,with an increase rate of 9.4%.Com-pared with the control, the yield per 667 m2 increased by 158.76 kilograms, with an increase rate of 34.6%.The 0.4%VDAL seed dressing,5%aminooligosaccharide seed dressing, and conventional 12%phenyl ether pyrrolidone thiazide seed dressing showed certain control effects on scab and stem base rot after spraying at the jointing stage. The control effects of 0.4%Weidali on scab and stem base rot were significantly more effective than the control. The 0.4%Weili treatment had advantages over the other treatments in terms of various biologi-cal characteristics during the wheat growth period and showed a significant yield increase effect.Due to drought and lack of rain during the wheat seedling, greening, and early jointing stages, along with continuous rain and low light conditions during the wheat flowering and pollination stages, the occurrence of pests and diseases was relatively mild.Whether 0.4%Weili has an inhibitory effect on stem base rot, scab, powdery mildew, stripe rust, aphids, and other pests and diseases still needs to be verified through years of continuous experimental re-search.
