Seed Germination,Main Traits,Protective Enzyme Activity and Correlation Analysis of Agastache rugosa in Different Regions
To explore differences in germination and growth of various Agastache rugosa seed varieties,a random block design was utilized to study the germination status, main agronomic traits, protective enzyme activ-ity,and related relationships of 15 varieties of Agastache rugosa seeds. The results showed differences in the ger-mination status among the Agastache rugosa seeds, with the germination rate, germination potential, germination index, and vitality index being relatively high under H9,H4 and H15 treatments. The biomass performance of Agastache rugosa seeds varied among the different varieties after germination, with the germination number,hy-pocotyl length, and embryonic stem thickness being relatively larger under H4,H9 and H15 treatments. The germination number was the lowest under H14 treatment, the hypocotyl length was shortest under H7 treatment, and the embryonic stem thickness was smallest under H14 treatment. There were significant differences in the SOD,POD and CAT activities of Agastache rugosa seeds among the different varieties after germination.Among them, the SOD,POD and CAT activities of Agastache rugosa seeds treated with H9 and H4 were relatively high, and the ability to scavenge reactive oxygen species was relatively strong. The SOD activity was the lowest under H1 treatment, the POD activity was the lowest under H7 treatment, and the CAT activity was the lowest under H14 treatment.Correlation analysis showed a highly significant positive correlation between the germination num-ber of Agastache rugosa seeds and SOD,POD and CAT and a significant positive correlation between embryonic axis length and POD,CAT and a highly significant positive correlation between embryonic stem diameter and SOD,CAT.
