Detection and Analysis of Porcine Circovirus Disease and Pseudorabies Immune Antibody in a Pig Farm in Meixian County
In order to assist the local Animal Epidemic Prevention Station and the Animal Health Supervi-sion Station in evaluating and supervising the immune efficacy of Porcine Circovirus Disease(PCVD)and Por-cine Pseudorabies(PR)in a pig farm in Meixian County,624 serum samples were collected. These included 168 lactating piglets,169 nursery pigs,144 reserve pigs,13 breeding boars and 130 sows. The samples were tested using indirect ELISA antibody detection. The results showed that the antibody positivity rate for the Por-cine Circovirus Type 2(PCV2)vaccine ranged from 81.66%to 95.24%,with an average of 86.70%.The an-tibody positivity rate for the gene-deleted Porcine Pseudorabies vaccine ranged from 94.64%to 100.00%,with an average of 98.24%.These results indicate that the immune antibody positivity rate for both PCVD and PR in the pig farm meet the standards set by the National Animal Disease Immunization Plan of china, and the o-verall immunization effect is satisfactory. However,it is recommended that vaccine quality be checked regularly, and that the immunization protocol be continuously optimized.
