Investigation and Analysis for Infection of Pullorum Disease,Mycoplasma synoviae and Mycoplasma gallisepticum in Breeding Chicken Farms in Lueyang County of Shaanxi Province
To understand the prevalence of Pullorum Disease(PD),Mycoplasma gallisepticum(MG)and Mycoplasma synoviae(MS)infections in breeding farms of Shaanxi province,an investigation was carried out at Lueyang Breeding Chicken Farm by using the sampling method to estimate prevalence. The results showed that the individual positive rate of PD,MG and MS in the farm were 4.73%(95%CI:3.1%~6.9%),64.91%(95%CI:60.8%~68.9%)and 65.82%(95%CI:61.7%~69.8%),respectively.The investigation of risk factors found that the infection of the three diseases in the breeder flock was greatly influenced by factors such as breeding methods, disinfection practices, and prolonged misuse of antibiotics. Therefore, when implementing a-vian embryo purification measures, these factors should be given priority to better control the spread of diseases like Pullorum Disease and avian mycoplasmosis.
