Basic Physical Properties of Reservoir in Block A of Sulige Gas Field
The analysis of the basic physical properties of reservoir is very important for the understanding of gas reservoir, the formulation of gas field development plan and the study of reasonable production system of gas well.Based on the physical core of block A of Sulige Gas Field, the microstructure characteristics of the reservoir were analyzed by conducting experiments of basic porosity, mineral composition, scanning electron microscopy and high-pressure mercury injection. The experimental results show that:1)the target area is a low-porosity and low-permeability carbonate reservoir with strong heterogeneity;2)the rocks are dominated by brittle minerals, and the mass fraction of clay minerals is very small(the mass fraction of clay minerals in most rocks is less than 2.0%);3)the pores are mainly intergranular pores, the pore morphology is diverse, the nanoscale micro-cracks are rare, the filling degree is not high, and the cracks and holes show geometric characteristics;4)the maximum mercury saturation difference is large, the pore throat structure is uneven, the sorting is poor, the pore throat radius is small, and the distribution is wide.
