Application of Measurement While Drilling System Based on Directional Drilling Technology in Coal Mines
In response to the problems of high gas outburst or large water inflow in most mining areas in China,it is necessary to drill to precise positions during drilling construction such as water exploration,gas drainage,geological exploration,and advance exploration to ensure the effectiveness of gas extraction,search for water bearing areas,and geological structural areas.However,during the directional drilling construction process in coal mines,due to changes in the occurrence of coal and rock layers,low construction technology,and equipment accuracy,it is easy to cause the drilling trajectory to deviate from the original design direction,and even have huge errors,misleading geological analysis and creating safety hazards.Therefore,the measurement while drilling system based on directional drilling technology in coal mines has been widely used,and its drilling process,measurement accuracy,and measurement results can meet practical needs.It has achieved good application results in directional drilling engineering for old empty water drainage,playing an important role in drilling construction quality,efficiency,and safety production.
