Coal Mine Roadway Support System Based on Foam Concrete and U-beam Steel
A combined support system consisting of steel mesh, anchor rods, anchor ropes, sprayed concrete, compressible U-beam,foam concrete damping layer, and fissure rock buffer layer was proposed for the large deformation roadway of soft rock in coal mines. The technical means of numerical analysis and on-site monitoring were used. The numerical analysis results show that the foam concrete absorbs most of the deformation of the surrounding rock, the shrinkage rate of the U-beam is significantly reduced, and the average axial force of the U-beam is in the relationship of second-order equation with the thickness of the foam concrete. In engineering practice, when the thickness of foam concrete exceeds 30 cm,the damping effect is no longer obvious. And the on-site monitoring results show that in the first 20 d after the formation of the support system, the displacement of the surrounding rock and the force borne by the U-beam show an increasing trend, but the increasing trend is reduced.
