Application of Four Stacking Methods to Control Spontaneous Combustion Gangue Mountain in Yanzishan Coal Mine
Coal gangue is a solid waste generated during the coal mining process.Due to its low utilization value,it is usually discarded in the gangue yard, gradually forming a gangue mountain.During the long-term accumulation of coal gangue, spontaneous combustion often occurs, causing casualties and environmental pollution.Taking the gangue mountain of Yanzishan Coal Mine in Shanxi Province as the research object, the characteristics of four typical coal gangue stacking methods were elaborated, and the temperature levels and CO and O2 volume fractions in the internal area of the gangue mountain under the four stacking methods were analyzed. The results show that the isolation and layered stacking of loess can effectively suppress the process of temperature rise inside the coal gangue mountain, reduce the CO production and O2 consumption of coal gangue;in the layered accumulation of loess,as the thickness of the soil layer increases, the inhibitory effect of spontaneous combustion of gangue mountain is enhanced.
