The traditional surface deformation monitoring technology has the problems of high work intensity, small coverage area and low work efficiency, which can not meet the needs of surface subsidence monitoring in the new stage of mining area.In recent years, the progress of satellite remote sensing ground observation technology and the appearance of spaceborne interferometric synthetic aperture radar(InSAR)have improved the accuracy of surface subsidence monitoring. These two technologies are is capable of taking high definition pictures of the surface and has the capability of lasting space coverage. The significance and core of elevation introduction measurement in coal mining were analyzed, some classic shaft elevation introduction techniques were explored, and solutions to the challenging problem of large deep shaft elevation introduction were put forward.
