Theoretical Research on Strength Control of Steel Wire Rope Core Conveyor Belt Joints
In order to ensure the strength of the vulcanized joint of the steel wire rope core conveyor belt,it is necessary to prevent and warn of belt breakage accidents.Based on the"steel wire rope + rubber"bonding theory,an ideal model of the steel wire rope core conveyor belt joint was established,and the influence mechanism of joint form,structure,and process on joint strength was studied using theoretical calculations and comparative analysis of accident cases.The research shows that the effective bond length ratio and the bond strength of steel wire rope and rubber are the fundamental factors to ensure the joint strength,large area pumping of wire rope core is an important characteristic of belt breaking accident.
