Deformation Characteristics and Control of Gob-side Roadway of Fully-mechanized Caving Face
In response to the severe asymmetric deformation and damage of the gob-side roadway of fully-mechanized caving face, taking the roadway in Datong Coal Mine as the engineering background, the characteristics and control of the deformation of gob-side roadway of fully-mechanized caving face were explored through numerical simulation and on-site experiments. The research results showed that the asymmetric deformation damage of the gob-side roadway surrounding rock was closely related to the collapse thickness, and the stress position of the main roof varied with the thickness of the top coal.In view of the asymmetric deformation characteristics of the roadway,a control strategy based on asymmetric high-prestressed truss anchor cable support was proposed, and field tests were conducted in the roadway rehabilitation section. The test results indicated that the asymmetric deformation of the tunnel had been well controlled, achieving long-term stability of the roadway.
