Belt Breaking Protection and Security Device Design of Belt Conveyors
Belt conveyor has been undertaking the important task of coal transportation in coal mine production,and its safe and stable operation is the prerequisite for ensuring safe production of the coal mine.However,there will be a variety of faults in the actual use of belt conveyors,which will cause the belt to break and lead to the equipment stopping in severe cases,and bring great losses to the coal mine production.Therefore,the causes of belt breaking accidents were analyzed,and the application of belt breaking protection technology and the design of security devices were discussed.According to the analysis conclusion and the actual situation,the belt conveyor belt breaking security device was designed.A design scheme of integrated security system of PLC+DCS+GSM(Programmable Logic Controller + Distributed Control System + Global System for Mobile Communications)based on ARM was proposed,and the feasibility analysis of the system was carried out.
