With the continuous expansion of depth and mining scale of coal mining face in China,roof accidents are increasing,which has a great impact on mine production.How to effectively prevent roof accidents has become an urgent problem to be solved.The importance of prevention and control of roof accidents in coal mining face was discussed,and corresponding prevention and control strategies were put forward through the analysis of the causes of accidents.
