Numerical Simulation on Reasonable Coal Pillar Width of Driving Roadway along Goaf in Isolated Island Working Face
With the continuous increase in the depth of coal mine production, the underground production environment is gradually deteriorating. In order to ensure the normal continuity of production, coal mines often use skip mining, resulting in the existence of isolated island working faces.Based on existing research findings, leaving a reasonable width of coal pillars for roadway protection is one of the main methods to maintain the stability of the roadway. In order to obtain a reasonable width of the coal pillars in the 263down17 working face section, this paper used numerical simulation method to study the distribution of stress inside the coal pillars and the changes in surface displacement of the surrounding rock at different periods and under different coal pillar widths. The reasonable section coal pillar width of the 263down17 working face is determined to be 6 m.After on-site practice verification, the surrounding rock control plan for the 263down17 working face roadway is reasonable and effective, and relevant experience can provide reference for similar working face roadway maintenance.
