Best Practice Research on Thermal Power Equipment Management and Carbon Emission Control
This paper explored the best practices for thermal power equipment management and carbon emission control, especially the economic feasibility of CCUS(Carbon Capture,Utilization and Storage)technology transformation in thermal power generation.Research raised the question:How to maintain the economic benefits of the thermal power industry while controlling carbon emissions?By analyzing the data,it was found that CCUS technology upgrades may significantly increase electricity prices. Therefore,it analyzed the pathway of CO2 conversion to methanol to improve the economic benefits of CCUS project. The results show that the total cost of this path is 846.04 yuan/t CO2,and the potential benefits can reach 2 661.73 yuan/t CO2.Combined with government subsidies, the economic benefits of the renovation plan in 2030 are the most significant. The study provides economically feasible solutions for controlling carbon emissions in the thermal power industry, helping to achieve decarbonization goals.
